My name is Carol. I was born in Boston Mass USA. Living in Aleppo, Syria, as a young child, then in Cairo, and Ma'adi, Egypt, I moved

to the States, and to the Upper Valley area- Norwich VT, Lyme and Hanover NH - as a teenager.

I have lived and worked in many places- as an au-pair in Uppsala, Sweden, as an assistant secretary in Rome, Italy, as a teacher's assistant in Pottery at the school in Hanover NH, as a leading soloist singer in a Christian Science Church in Vermont, and now, as a self employed photographer in Randolph NH.

My education is varied. I studied singing with a once famous russian singer, Olga Averino, in Boston MA, then went on to earn a BA in Voice from UNH, in Durham NH. Much later, in Rome, I became certified as a teacher of english as a foreign language. There, I also studied art with Dana Prescott, a well known painter, as well as wine with Maureen Ashley, a Master of Wine. During these years abroad, I was fortunate to attend a program in Skyros, Greece, which led me to meeting and taking a writing course with Hugo Williams, a famous english poet.

As a child, I loved to ride an arabian stallion, ski in Austria, and swim in the Red Sea. As an adult, I have traveled a lot,  learned other languages, watched many a foreign film, and plan to do and see lots more!
